New organics recycling rules in effect

The new rules affect composting for backyard composters, small compost facility operators, and large-scale source separated organics facilities. These new rules will help guide the expansion and development of new organics recycling facilities in Minnesota and will help the state reach its 2030 goal for food waste and organics recycling. New business recycling requirements now in place

New business recycling requirements are now in place for most businesses and for sports facilities and stadiums.  Businesses and sports facilities are now required to recycle at least three types of materials. RAM Serves as Witness to MPCA’s Attempt to Create Largest Paper Ball

New feature at the 2014 RAM/SWANA conference
