The Revolution Plastics Dumpsters Have Arrived! In place now on central Minnesota farms and at boat dealerships. All during the week of April 3-7, 2017, rural Minnesotans saw the new white recycling dumpsters on flat bed trailers heading to locations across the central and north central part of the state. April 2017 Agricultural Plastic Update

Recycling of Agricultural Plastics became a reality for nearly 500 farmers and marinas in central Minnesota as of April 7, 2017. During the week of April 3-7, a total of 516 new recycling dumpsters were dispersed by the Revolution Plastics Company at no cost to the participants who had qualified for the program in what is a truly revolutionary way to manage this deluge of unwanted plastic. February 2017 Agricultural Plastic Update

The Agricultural Plastic and Boat Wrap recycling initiative has taken some great steps forward in the past six months. With the advent of the Revolution Plastics company bringing their program to Minnesota in December, 2016 , active on–farm collection of plastics has begun. Revolution Plastics’ FREE Agricultural Plastics Recycling Program: Now Accepting Applications

Farms must sign up for new FREE on-farm agricultural plastic recycling program. Farmers should visit www.revolutionplastics.com to notify Revolution Plastics that they would be willing to host a film plastics-only container on their farm. Just two to three full dumpsters a year is enough to justify a location, and smaller farms could share the container.
